My hometown, Anyang is a livable place. Anyang is in the central part of Gyeonggi-do Province. It is a medium sized city with about 600,000 residents.. Anyang is well known for ‘Anyang First Street’ and ‘Pyeong Cheon Academic Street’. Anyang first street is a convenient place with a shopping center and various restaurants. Clothes are cheaper than other places, so many citizens usually go to 1st street. Pyeong Cheon Academic Street is a famous street in Gyeonggi-do Province. Koreans are interested in studies, so parents prefer this street. There are natural places like Suri Mountain and Anyang Stream . Residents can enjoy nature life. I think Anyang is a convenient place in many ways.
This summer I went to Jeonju with my friends. Jeonju is located in Jeollabuk-do Province. It is one of the most famous traditional cities in Korea. First of all, I visited the Jeondong Catholic Church. My friends and I were amazed when we looked at this building, because this church was so beautiful. We took a lot of pictures in front of the church. Second, I went to Jeonju Hanok Village. I felt my ancestor’s efforts. Jeonju Hanok Village‘s street was made up with delicious food and various souvenir shops. I ate so much food like shrimp dumplings, chocolate pies and octopus skewers. I felt lots of fun because I could see many traditional buildings when while eating delicious food. I felt Jeonju was beautiful and amazing city. Seeing the real buildings was better than seeing pictures of them. I recommend to my friends.
Gyeongju has many attractions. Anapji, Cheomseongdae and the Silla Dynasty tombs are some of the most famous attractions you can see in downtown Gyeongju. Many tourists visit Anapji when the sun goes down, because the view at night is great. When you see Cheomseongdae, you can feel Silla Dynasty. In addition, anybody could appreciate traditional beauty. There are also many attractions near Bomun Lake, such as Gyeongju World, two teddy bear museums and the Sonje Art Museum. Bomun lake is the best attraction for couples. Gyeongju World is an exciting place to relieve stress. There were many rides in Gyeongju World. Finally, you shouldn’t leave Gyeongju without visiting Bulguksa, the famous Buddhist temple, and seokgoram Grotto. Bulguksa is the representative relic of Gyeongju. Bulguksa and Seokgoram Grotto were designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO. Everybody that see Bulguksa will be impressed.
